Information regarding Renewal of the Church Electoral Roll
The Church Electoral Roll is due for a complete renewal this year and every member needs to re-apply as no-one is carried over onto the new Roll.
This is the register for all Church members qualified to attend and vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) where elections take place for the Parochial Church Council (PCC) and the Parish’s representatives at the Deanery Synod. It is the foundation of the government of the church and enables church people at every level to be in touch with the Church as a whole and to play a part in its decision making. It ensures that lay people have their place in every aspect of Church life.
Notices have been displayed on the Church notice boards explaining procedure and qualifications for membership. Application forms will be available in the church or will be distributed to current members and an electronic version can be found at the bottom of this page. The closing date for applications is February 24th 2019.
